JOIN PET RESCUE'S "FOSTER FUR" PROGRAM,
AND PUT A LITTLE FUZZ INTO YOUR LIFE!
We here at Pet Rescue Association have decided to reactivate our "Foster Fur" program of some years ago and our welcome our animal loving friends into the world of the once-abandoned- now-waiting-for–a- home pet.
For those of you who love, love, love animals but cannot have one of their own; here's the chance to adopt-a-sweetie without the wear and tear of ownerdom. Many people can't currently keep a pet because of allergies, landlords, physical space, or for whatever reason that would keep the normal pet owner from owning their own pet. For those of you who have pets and simply cannot take in another, again, here's the opportunity for that "just one more". We'll take care of it for you. Or how about a gift for that allergic friend of yours. Or the niece who can't have a kitten of her own. Or the grandmother in a retirement home?
On the other hand, Pet Rescue has a whole bunch of animals who do not have their own beloved masters, and would probably be delighted to know somebody loves them.
This is how it works...
You choose a category (i.e., dog, cat) and you can, if you wish, choose a gender (i.e. boy, girl) and even a type (i.e., long hair, short hair, no hair). Then, on a monthly basis, you write a check to Pet Rescue Association for $20.00 to support your own foster animal(s).
In return, you will receive a picture, and letter from your foster fur, and opportunity to visit your new furry friend on the weekends if you choose. You can walk your dog, brush your cat, and meet the caretakers of this orphanage first hand. In other words, you will have a pet of your own away from home. If your animal is adopted you will be notified immediately and, if you wish, you may choose another wonderful animal from our current collection.
We have one long-time member who recently adopted a new cat from our facility. She had a lot of trouble making up her mind, and upon making her decision felt she was leaving her "second choice" behind. We had been discussing our past "fostering" program, of which she had been a part. She is the first actual member of 2002 Foster Fur, because she solved her dilemma by making Arial her foster fur.
