WE GET LETTERS

Perhaps the most rewarding feeling that the volunteers and staff of Pet Rescue can have occurs when we see one of our 'babies' leaving with their new family. Close to the second best feeling is when we receive a letter and photograph telling us how they are getting along. These are just a few of the hundreds of letters from our scrapbook.

Hi! Remember me? I'm Daisy Mae, the cockapoo you rescued. I'm so happy to have a good home. My owner loves me. She takes me for walks and plays with me too. I thought you might like to see what I look like now so here's a picture of me. Aren't I cute? Love, Daisy Mae
P.S. My owner is considering getting me a sister. If you get any small femail poodle mixes that don't shed, would you let her know? Maybe she can be talked into a friend for me,

To all of you. May the shining joy of Christmas brighten all year. We really thank you for Sylvester, he is all we want in a pet. He has brought so much cheer to our lives.
Thank you, Jennifer and Tom

Dear Pet Rescue, We adopted Lady just a week ago. I guess as you can see from the picture, she has adjusted very well. Even the bright flash of the camera didn't wake her up. She's fit in with the other animals with no problems, but she definately prefers human company. She made it very clear right from the beginning where she planned on sleeping. She even beats us up the stairs at night. She's a beautiful addition to the family and will get lots of love for the rest of her life! Thanks, Jeanne and Sharon

Just wanted to let you know that Niki is terrific. She knows she has a permanent home, and she's comfortable, healthy and happy.
I'm sending a photo for your scrapbook. Niki and I appreciate your care and concern. Thanks for your help. Regards, Michael
