DOG ADOPTIONS

I'm Thelma. A happy 18 month old Rottweiller mix spayed female, who was raised here at Pet Rescue since I was about four months old. My sister, Louise, was adopted months ago. It's funny because we were identical twins and I have never understood what my sister had that I didn't . I'm large (about 65 lbs.) and my tail had been docked. I walk well on a lease, I am not destructive, and I get along well with people. I have been well taken care of but I have no formal training. Although I am at an age where training me would be easy.

I'm happy, adorable, teeny (but overweight), female Foofi. I came to Pet Rescue with my step-sister, Muffy, when my beloved owner became ovewhelmed with bad Karma and couldn't afford to care for us any more. I am a pure Maltese and a little older than is commonly desireable (a lady never tells her age, but I can write it...I'm ten years old). Still, I have as much energy and enthusiasum and joy in me as my 5 years old step-sibling, and I'll kiss you 100 times, just to prove it! I love people and just the other day I discovered that I like cats too. Frankly, I don't think I eve saw one before, but now I realize I'm going to really enjoy these things. Only Angelpusses need apply for our adoption.

My name is Rusty. I think I am six years old. I am a gentlemanly Springer Spaniel who was once owned by a street person who could no longer keep me. I am housebroken, neutered and have all my current shots

My name is Hannah. I am three years old and very sweet, they tell me. I am a Golden Retreiver. I have a weak back leg which will need to be taken care of, and the good folks at Pet Rescue are trying to arrange for that to happen.

The story of Beth, Amy and Meg

A man in a truck, who works for one of these car dismantling places nearbye was stopping at all the kennels around here to see if anyone would take in the mother and 4 pups. They were in the back of the truck. The mother was tied there on a rope and the pups were in a big box. She had had 12 pups on their lot and he and some of the guys took care of her and fed her until the pups were old enough to give away. They had managed to give away 8 puppies, but the owner was at the end of his rope, and the puppies were about 9 weeks old; old enough to run around and get killed. The mother actually looks like a pure Ridgeback, but the who knows? Anyway we can bet they are not pure Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They are leash trained but are not good with cats..they love humans, however, and are looking for 1,2, or 3 good homes.
