WHO ARE WE?
PET RESCUE ASSOCIATION
, a non-profit, volunteer-based humane organization,
dedicated to the care and placement of unwanted pets.
|
|
|
WHAT DO WE DO?
PET RESCUE ASSOCIATION
believes that given enough time and know-how, a home
can be found for almost every animal, and we do not
believe that euthanasia is the answer. WE strive to
provide an alternative to the terrible choice between
destruction and abandonment which faces pet owners who
find they must give up their pets.
|
|
|
WHY DO WE DO IT?
PET RESCUE ASSOCIATION
was founded by humane workers who volunteered at the
local city animal shelters where they saw thousands
of pet owners who had to give up their pets and had
no place to turn and no real answers to their dilemma.
|
|
|
WHERE DO WE DO IT?
PET RESCUE ASSOCIATION
has its own permanent location at 8906 Norris Avenue
in Sun Valley (immediately north of Burbank, and
immediately east of North Hollywood) consisting of a
kennel and cattery.
|
|
|
WHEN DO WE DO IT?
“IT”
is done all day, everyday, but
PET RESCUE ASSOCIATION
is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, from
11:00 am to 4:30 pm for adoptions. (Animals are
accepted into our facility by appointment only.)

HOW DO I HELP?
If you are concerned about the fate of the unwanted animals in
your environment and have even the most minimal amount of time
to spare, there is always something you can do to help to assist
PET RESCUE ASSOCIATION
in its ongoing efforts. Find out how you can
volunteer
a few hours a week. Perhaps you can help us with
fundraising

We welcome
Sadie, our new guest. She is a 10/11
month old Pointer mix, who is as friendly as she is beautiful! She loves people, other animals, and life. She’s spayed, inoculated and waiting for the
right person(s) to adopt her. She’s very
active and she must have a home that has at least one jogger, walker, or
runner, or maybe just an active companion animal. Approximately 35 pounds of young and
enthusiastic pup she is not for the fainthearted, but with a personality that
will make your heart smile she might be your girl. |
